Yiddishe Cup’s bandleader, Bert Stratton, is Klezmer Guy.
He knows about the band biz and – check this out – the real estate
biz, too.
You may not care about the real estate biz. Hey, you may not care
about the band biz. (See you.)
This is a blog with a gamy twist. It features tenants with snakes
and skunks, and musicians with smoked fish in their pockets.
Stratton has written op-eds for the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post.

great article, Bert. You should do more writing.
Mazel tov, Bert! Great to see you featured in the Times again and especially in the RNC context. The Times certainly made a lot of local efforts what with their articles on the Cleveland Jewish community’s thoughts, not to mention the Slovenian community’s on Mrs. Trump. And while they did do a piece on the German townspeople whence the Trumps came from, I was disappointed that they didn’t do the same for the Cleveland German community. I suspect they’d find far more Trump supporters here (given the community’s perceived demographics) than in Germany.
I want to say simply “great read!”, but something in cloud-computing-land said a short and sweet comment was an “error”, and advised me to go back and write some more. Is that real? Is that Alice? anyway, I really enjoyed the article, and hope to drop in soon. $40 for a night seems reasonable to me.
